Aisling Bea

Aisling is an Irish-born comedian, who's been performing for quite a while. She was born in Kildare, Ireland, on 16th March 1984. She has been on QI with Stephen Fry. Aisling CliodhnadhSullivan (born 16 March 1984) who is also known by the name Aisling bea she is an Irish comedian as well as a writer and actress. Following appearances in bits in a variety of Irish and British television shows since 2009 Bea was able to begin her career as a stand-up comedian in 2011. The comedian began to appear frequently on sketch comedy shows and sitcoms from 2012. The actress began to appear regularly in panel shows following her win of an award from The Edinburgh Comedy Awards. In 2016 and 2017, she served as a team leader on 8 Out of 10 Cats. She is also participant on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents were Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead is her younger sister. She was the only female to be a winner of the show So You Think You're Funny in the year 2012. Bea's surname is in honour of her late father. Aisling Claiodhnadhs Sullivan was born on March 16, 1984, from Kildare, County Kildare. Her father Brian was a veterinarian for horses who committed suicide at the age of three. Bea was just three years old though she wasn't told about what happened to him until she was thirteen. In 2017, she composed an essay for The Guardian about the suicide of her father's family. She also she adopted the stage name Bea to pay tribute. Bea (and her younger sister Sinead) were raised in the same home as Helen Moloney, who was a school instructor and trainer of jockeys who was a professional jockey. She and her family loved horses, races as well as the race industry. Bea was initially a tourist guide at Irish National Stud. But she realized her love was doing and not racing.
