Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney (born Amal Ramzi alamuddin) is a Lebanese/British lawyer who is a human rights defender and philanthropist. An alumni of Oxford University and New York University School of Law her years of experience and accomplishments working in the areas of international law and human rights has earned her acclaim internationally. Her high-profile clients have included various nation-states and countries, such as the Republic of Armenia in its fight for acknowledgement of Armenia's Armenian Genocide by the Turkish government. Amal Clooney married American actor George Clooney and became a known name within the world of popular culture in 2014. Before that, she was a well-known, respected and respected in legal circles as a lawyer who consistently represents her clients successfully and effectively. Her work includes tackling human rights and social justice issues, to representing multinational corporations during discussions and court proceedings in relation to government regulations.
